Hi Chris

Did you get any answers? I am having trouble too - mine wont turn on past the ''Ready screen''?

I think my disc is corrupt.

Have you been able to work yours?

Hi. Hoping someone has had some luck with this player. We are stumped. Ours just stopped working before we even had a chance to load anything on to it. Thought it may need a charge, but how exactly do you do that?? Help please!!

I've made the same mistake - bought the SAN2008 ! Should have stuck to the Creative Media mp3 player. I cannot figure how to work it out either. And the instruction manual - need an instruction manual to work it out ! Help !

Sorry, but we really don't know much about this newer Sansui equipment.  This site is dedicated to the older, High End equipment that Sansui Electric Co Japan used to make.

Nowadays, you can find Sansui brand MP3,TV,VCR,DVD players carrying the same logo in the US.  They are manufactured and distributed by different companies.  These companies are from different countries in the world, and they even don't know each other.  This is the result of Chinese holding company selling Sansui brand name to anybody and anyplace in the world.
One thing sure is, though, there is no technical relationship whatsoever with Sansui Japan products.  Carrying the same logo, that is the only thing in common.

One company carrying Sansui DVD ( http://www.sansui-india.com/ ) is pretty good for customer support, but others are like "Thank you for buying our junks, and good bye!". It's very sad that the Chinese holding company does not understand the global brand strategy, or they don't care about it.

Hello, I noticed your message on the bulletin board and I am an electronics and computer technician.  I am familiar with this model and can help you with the setup and running of it.

This player has a built-in rechargeable Lithium Ion 3.7 volt battery.
It is re-charged through your USB port on your computer while you upload music files to it or make changes.

You can also purchase AC household charger with USB connection to charge it from your mains power, their is also one available for the car as well.

If you need any more information. Send me an email.

Hey, I have the SAN2008 mp3 player and I was wondering if anyone knew what the security settings were on, because I downloaded a few songs, but it's not working because the security settings are too low.

Thanks.

Hi Adrian

I hope you mean the newly produced products having a Sansui logo.

The older products are of high quality and they were made by the genuine Sansui Electric Co in Japan. There is no technical relationship whatsoever with Sansui Japan products.  Carrying the same logo, that is the only thing in common.

Have you been in touch with Angtech who offer his help ?
