what's up with t.v.? when it shuts itself off all the time.this is it's number one problem.does this anywhere from 3 times a day to 15,this has been going on for 1 1/2 years now.I bought this t.v. 2 years ago.Sometimes it will change the station on it's own at lease one time it turned itself on. tell me what's up ??? other than this very annoying problem I like this t.v. very much the picture comes in great when it wants you to watch it. please let me know what you think??? I need help I want to watch t.v. thank-you BARBARA DELARIA

Hello, Try removing the batteries from the remote. It may be sending out a signal when it is not supposed to. These sets are made by Orion, I have seen this many times with these sets. If it's not the remote, you may well have problems with the power supply regulator circuit and/or microprocessor. BTW Orion makes some sets for Emerson, and all Toshiba (direct view), NOT DLP or plasma. If you have problems getting parts, you may cheat a bit and get parts from Toshiba. That's what I normally do.
