 Hello there

I have just picked up a Sansui A4.  Radio works fine but not sure how to use the tape and cd deck - any instructions available out there?  Terribly girly question I know but despite 25 years as a systems engineer I can't get the beggar to work!!!!

Cheers
Barry

Hi Jay,

Congratulations on your purchase. I know this comes late, I just got to check my post, can you describe the fault? Low amplification, no power, no display, deck works, CD player performance jittery, etc. Look forward to getting you the right info & get this baby to work. Let me know....

Hi mehow,

Please check your email.

Hi Caroline,

Congratulations on your purchase. Please check your pm.

Best regards,

Barry

Hi There!

Just found this blog about Sansui Audio Note A-4. A-4 owners appear to be members of an exclusive club ;-) - I didn't expect that this item is that rare.
I purchased mine in 1992 for 698,- DM, which was a lot of money for a "portable radio" at this time.

My example still works fine, but when receiving some FM stations there is unfortunately a high freqeuncy "whistle".

I also have the complete paperwork (owners manual, 6 p. coloured sales brochure, list of Sansui authorized international servicecenters and certificate of warranty). If there is anyone on the search, don't hesitate to contact me for a pdf.

Best regards from Germany,

Andreas

Hi I have an audionote A4, bought in Dhahran in 1994. (I am back in UK now).  I am feeling that it is time to let it go.  I used it quite a bit in the early years when I was single, since then it has sat around.  I snapped the external antenna (£4 on ebay) and I also experience a whine on lower end FM stations.  My left speaker emits more sound than the right.  In case anybody is looking for one for parts or to make good, please get in touch.

Paul
